For people who hold others
You're here because you care. People come to you with things they've never told anyone, and you stay with them.
This week is for you if you are:
At the start of your facilitation path. You've done your own work, you feel the call to hold others, and you want to begin on solid ground.
An experienced practitioner people trust with their deepest pain. You're skilled and you care. And lately you're carrying more and more.
Anyone who wants to hold others with more safety, integrity and depth. Facilitators, Coaches, Healers, Therapists, Breath Workers, Body Workers, Energy Workers and Space Holders.
If you keep asking how to do this work better, you're already the kind of facilitator people need. This week adds the skill to match your care.
What you already bring
You've sat with someone while they told you something they'd never said out loud. And you stayed.
You've walked through your own pain to get here. That's why people trust you with theirs.
You don't pretend to have it all figured out. You keep doing your own work, and you keep asking how to hold people better. That's integrity.
The world needs more people like you. This week is about giving you more room to hold what you already carry and expanding your capacity so you can do more impactful work in the world.
Caring deeply is your gift.
It can also be what weighs you down.
If you hold space for others, some of this might sound familiar.
You feel things deeply.
That's what makes you good at this. But when trauma comes up in a session, you're not always sure if you're holding their pain or quietly taking it on as your own.
You take this work seriously.
You'd never want to cause harm. And that same care can turn into fear of getting it wrong, of going too far or not far enough.
You give a lot.
People can feel how much you care. But your boundaries can blur. You say yes when you mean no, you give more than you have, and you go home exhausted.
You can sense there's deeper work waiting.
Your clients are ready for it, and so are you. You just aren't sure how to take them there safely.
None of this means you're doing it wrong. It means you're ready to build the thing that will take your work to the next level.
Capacity.
What changes when you build capacity
Capacity is your ability to hold deeper work with confidence, safety and integrity. It means you can stay steady when things get intense, without rushing to fix them or shutting down.
When working with people’s trauma. Instead of tightening, you soften. You stay. You know what to do next, and the person in front of you can feel it. They go deeper than they ever have before because your capacity creates the space they need.
By the end of the week you'll have:
A clear picture of your blockers, and real work to move through them: the stories, habits and fears that limit your capacity and pull you out of presence.
Felt experience of deeper trauma work held well. You'll experience it live, not just hear about it. You'll see what real skill and safety looks like in practice, and feel the difference it makes in your own body.
Three ways to build your capacity that you can practise straight away, so you stay steady and confident when your work goes deep.
A plan for safer, deeper sessions. Clear steps to bring more safety and integrity into your groups and one-to-ones, so the people you hold can go further than before.
A group of people who get it. You'll share the week with people who care about this work as much as you do, in a space that practises the integrity it teaches.
Your week, call by call
Three live calls, each about 90 - 120 minutes, with space to practise and share in between. Every call is interactive, and along the way you'll get a first insight into The Emotional Alchemy Method™, the approach we use for Somatic Trauma Processing at Human Work.

1. What capacity is, and what getting in your way
We look at what capacity is and why it matters so much in this work. You'll explore your own blockers, whether that's rushing, over-functioning, unprocessed trauma or fear of getting it wrong, so you can see them clearly.

[Day 4, Thu 14 Jan, 18:30 UK]
2. Live deeper work
This is the heart of the week. Jack guides the whole group through a psychosomatic experience, and works live with volunteers through somatic trauma processing. We debrief together after. This is live, experiential work, that you’ll feel in your body.

[Day 7, Sun 17 Jan, 18:30 UK]
3. Apply it
You'll work through the blockers you named in the first call, then plan how to bring capacity into your own groups and sessions, and choose what to practise next. We'll also share what comes after the week for anyone who wants to go further on this path.
